This is the picture impression of the scholars of the Qur’an as told these scholars.

Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jauziyah vol saying: “Allah revealed the Qur’an is for our reflection, we study as a guide, we remember as an entertainer, we interpret the shape and the best understanding, we trust and believe, and we enforce commands and prohibitions, its restriction to the maximum extent possible. We can reap the fruits of science that will be useful to God leads us from the trees and garden lesson, either from the plants and flowers. Because, the Qur’an is the Book of Allah that will show all the things about God to anyone who wants to know Him.

The Qur’an is the path laid down by God for anyone who wants to travel into his presence. The Qur’an is the light of God’s light, which would eliminate the darkness. The Qur’an is God’s grace given to us for the good of all beings. The Qur’an is an important connector between God and His servants when other factors had been disconnected. The Qur’an is the main gate of God in which we can enter the gates when others have closed.

The Qur’an is the Ash-Shiraathal Mustaqiim (straight path) are not going to make opinions and our opinions become crooked. The Qur’an is the Ath-Dzikrul Hakiim (warning wise) that will not make wishes and our desires to be lost. The Qur’an is the An-Nuzuulul Kariim (noble grace) that will never make the clergy feel satisfied and full, because magic is not gone, the verses are not lost, and the guidelines are not opposed.

Every time our view of the Qur’an grows strong in thought and reflection, it precisely every time we get additional guidance and knowledge. Every time we dig it implies, every time that precisely reflected the sources of wisdom and the policy with the rain. The Qur’an is the light that will illuminate the eyes of blindness, heart bidders who will cure disease and kehampaannya, life for the hearts, tasty treats for the soul, the heart of beautiful gardens, as well as guiding conscience towards a peaceful country. ”

(Quoted from ‘Mu’min Ibaadatul Amr Khalid essay)

Hopefully we can feel what is felt by salafus righteous scholars and followers of their footsteps through the ages. Hopefully useful.
